Why Do Exceptional Women Get Stuck?

Even the most talented women face invisible barriers that limit their rise. You're not imagining it.

  • You receive feedback that's vague and unhelpful

  • You're exhausted from the pressure to conform to leadership styles that are not your own

  • You face the impossible double bind of being labeled either "too aggressive" or "not assertive enough"

  • You question whether you're truly ready for bigger opportunities (despite evidence that you are)

  • You take on too much, feeling you must prove yourself through overwork

These challenges aren't personal failures – they're systemic obstacles that require strategic navigation.

I'm Jessica Garcia Dudek, and I've spent over two decades navigating the complexities of leadership in the tech industry. From my early days as a Systems Engineer at Microsoft to becoming COO at a boutique consulting firm, I've experienced firsthand the unique challenges women face as they rise in their careers.

My journey has taken me across the globe—from Seattle to Sydney, from individual contributor to executive leadership. Along the way, I've learned that success isn't about fitting into someone else's leadership mold. It's about finding your authentic voice and using it powerfully.

As a professionally certified coach, I bring both extensive leadership experience and a deep understanding of women's leadership dynamics to our work together. In the past three years, I've had the privilege of working with over 200 women leaders across various industries. The women’s specific training I’ve gone through (Tara Mohr’s Playing Big framework and Eve Rodsky’s Fair Play Method) are coupled with classic leadership development tools (CliftonStrengths and Polarity Thinking) to make a unique program experience.

What sets me apart:

  • 20+ years of hands-on leadership experience in tech and consulting

  • Deep understanding of women's leadership dynamics from being "the only one in the room"

  • Proven track record of helping women navigate career transitions and growth

  • Expertise in creating safe, supportive spaces for authentic exploration and growth

  • A practical, grounded approach that combines strategic thinking with emotional intelligence

Testimonials

“I have avoided trainings targeting women, as I worry they teach women to feel like victims, with male colleagues as enemies. Your training was not this way. You acknowledged the unique challenges women face without making us out to be victims who need to revolt against our male coworkers/bosses. Thank you for that. I never felt uncomfortable in an unhealthy way. I feel empowered, and interested in sharing with my colleagues, male and female alike.” Valerie N. (Sales Manager, Manufacturing Industry)

“I really appreciate all the material you shared with us. Working in this type of environment for 15 years showed me that I really wasn't wrong about how things really should be done. It was great to listen to the other women and hear their ideas and situations. You are an amazing person and have a great way working with people and getting the information out there. Thank you.” Renee C. (Purchaser, Manufacturing Industry)

“I've learned so much and am already drawing on my new knowledge in my position. Jessica was a fantastic instructor and wish I could attend more of her classes!" Sara J. (Chief Operating Officer, Manufacturing Industry)

“This program was extremely well structured to meet the needs of women developing leadership skills and self-awareness. I found the content and exercises incredibly valuable, but one of the best parts of the program was building connections with women in different career phases and exchanging feedback to support mutual growth.” Sophia T.(Senior Systems Engineer, Technology Industry)

“Jessica is a fantastic facilitator and guide through this content! I love the way she really encourages you to bring your whole self to leadership & show up for your team. The way she encourages vision and goal setting leaves me feeling refreshed, inspired and hopeful for the future.” Mallory G. (Director of Technical Program Management, Technology Industry)

“I really enjoyed the small group time where we would get to try out our conversations based on the models. The resolving conflicts in the team and renegotiation conversations really stick out. Hearing feedback from my peers was also a wonderful experience, and it validated that I am not alone in what I am facing.” Jannell N. (Sr. Engineering Manager, Technology Industry)

“Jessica, you have provided key understanding that will continue to benefit my life in the coming years, both at home and abroad. The increased knowledge will bring a greater fullness of life in the coming years. ...Thank you so much for your time, care and consideration in opening new possibilities for the future. It was well done." -  Janet H. (Quality Supervisor, Manufacturing Industry)

“Jessica was an outstanding instructor. The pace of the program was spot on and having the opportunity to connect with other women in the manufacturing industry was so valuable. It is great to have the support and perspective of other women. “ Eva R. (Marketing Director, Manufacturing Industry)
